Signarama and Fully Promoted Australia have run a nationwide campaign “Redkite May” which has raised over $45,000 in support of Redkite, the Australian charity providing essential support to families facing childhood cancer.

Throughout the month of May, United Franchise Group franchisee locations across the country came together with a shared purpose, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families navigating one of life’s toughest challenges. Redkite delivers vital emotional, financial and practical support to children with cancer and their families across Australia.

The campaign saw strong engagement from the local community, with participating stores leading a wide range of grassroots fundraising initiatives, including community barbeques, presentations at networking groups and business forums, donations tied to sales.

Franchisees and their teams, alongside the corporate office also participated in Redkite’s “Heartbreak to Hope” walking challenge with one particular participant completing a challenge of walking 100km in under 24 hours.

“Redkite May is a powerful reminder of what our network can achieve when we come together behind a shared cause. These efforts reflect the deep relationships each franchise location has with its local community, with each initiative contributing to a collective national impact,” said Matt Fitzpatrick, GM Signarama Australia.

“We’re so incredibly proud of our franchise network and their efforts. We often describe our network as one big family, and it’s times like this when that truly comes to the fore,”

“A massive thank you to the Signarama and Fully Promoted franchises nationwide for championing our inaugural Redkite May. Their incredible commitment helps ease the heavy financial burden of childhood cancer, ensuring parents can focus on what matters most – their child. Their support truly means the world to us and the families we support.” Carl Young, GM Fundraising and Philanthropy, Redkite.
