With over 450 entries received across 25 categories for the 2026 Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics Awards, ASGA President Mick Harrold heralds the interest as a ‘clear demonstration of the continued strength and innovation of sign and graphics businesses in Australia’.

Award winners will be announced at a special gala presentation dinner, being held on the evening of Thursday 3rd September at the end of Day Two of the upcoming Visual Impact conference, being held at the Sydney Showgrounds precinct. Harrold confirms: “The entries we’ve received this year are outstanding – some of the best we have ever received – so our expert Judging Panel will really have their work cut out for them when judging commences next week.”

He continues: “The Awards provide an important platform for businesses to benchmark their business against the best in the industry, review and evaluate their business processes and achievements, and to promote their brand and building profile with customers and key industry stakeholders.”

Founded by ASGA in 2005, the Awards have been held every second year since 2006 to recognise and reward sign companies nationally for excellence, and to showcase the array of talent within the sign and graphics industry. The 25 different Awards categories span everything from digital media; to fabricated, engraved and digitally printed signs, vehicle wraps, and traditional sign craft, with training innovation, sustainability, project management and installation also recognised. Major awards include the Best in Show award, the Young Star award, and the People’s Choice Award, voted on by visitors to Visual Impact Expo.

Judging for the Awards is an exacting process, with a team of 27 judges who provide a wide range of expertise. Following the first round of judging, in which a short list of potential finalists is prepared, a second, more intensive examination of each of the shortlisted entries is conducted to determine the finalists and category winners. Then, there is a final round of judging, where the combined panel pick the ‘Best in Show’ award from all the Gold Medal Winners.

This year’s awards are proudly sponsored by Diamond Sponsor Easy Signs; Gold Sponsors Avery Dennison, ORAFOL, Spandex and Visual Connections, and Bronze Sponsors Currie Group, HP, Pozitive Sign & Graphic Supplies and SMIB.
