Australia’s Sign and Graphics industry celebrated at the Easy Signs National Sign & Graphics Awards dinner held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre last night. Awards were presented across 24 categories from digital media and illumination through to sustainability and traditional signcraft.

Two companies tied for the night’s biggest haul: Signs & Lines and OMG.CO each taking home six awards. Signs & Lines built its tally on the strength of its ECU City campus work and a Gold win in Retail Sign Package for the WACA Cricket Stadium redevelopment, while OMG.CO’s Barangaroo Station and 101-121 Castlereagh Street projects picked up wins across Fabrication, Installation, Retail Sign Package and the Project Management Award winning that category outright with Barangaroo Station.

Best in Show

Zimmermann Industries Pty Ltd capped an outstanding night by claiming Best in Show for its suspended floor level identifiers and escalator canopy project, having entered and won Gold in the Illumination (LEDs) category. Zimmerman was one of the evening’s standout performers, adding a second LEDs Gold for its “TBTM” project and a further Gold in Fabrication – General Signage (Businesses with more than 5 staff) for “Foster & Black,” for a total of five award placings.
