ASGA Golf Days continue to deliver on all fronts

For anyone who has previously attended an ASGA Sign & Print Golf Day, you will be aware that the golf itself is secondary to the opportunity to catch up with industry peers, network and share current challenges and opportunities. With the WA Golf Day about to tee off at Wembley Park Golf Club in Perth, last week’s 2026 ASGA Queensland Sign & Print Golf Day.at Nudgee Golf Club, delivered on every front.
‘Great weather, great company, questionable golf – what more could you ask for?,’ said an ASGA spokesperson. ‘With more than 100 registrations from across Queensland’s sign and print industry, the weather was picture-perfect, the rivalry was intense but friendly and there was definitely the occasional creative interpretation of the rules’.
The winning format for these ASGA Golf Days keeps things simple. A light breakfast to familiarise yourself with the surrounds and other players, followed by a shotgun start (commencing 8am), match-play against Ambrose rules, and then back to the 19th hole for a well-earned drink and spot of lunch, throwing up even more time to network. After which, the days winners and grinners are then announced and duly rewarded.
Taking out the day at Nudgee, with an impressive nett 45 were the AP Signs team (pictured) of Marc McMillian, Bernard Jackson, Ken Bower and Tony Hewitt. Runners-up with nett 47 were the HVG 2 team of David McDonald, Anthony Lambrose, Jason Kirk and Jonathon O’Toole. Other prize winners included Scott Thorburn, John Ferguson, Ryan Byun, Duncan Read, Russell from Benga Designs, Adam Janz, Craig Hooper, Brooklyn Sinn and Rob Ferrier.
