Janet / Tuesday, 22 July 2025 / Categories: Latest News - AUS only, Associations - AUS only Strong Turnout for ASGA NSW Golf Day Excellent weather in Sydney led to perfect conditions for the strong contingent who attended the ASGA’s popular annual NSW Sign & Print Golf Day at the Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club. Over 60 golfers teed off early for 18 holes of golf, played in the Ambrose style. Team members take turns hitting from the spot of the previous shot — a format that emphasises teamwork and fun. The ASGA says the fun element has made the event one of the most highly anticipated on the Sydney industry calendar. Damian Nielsen, Member & Events Manager for ASGA, says these events are a great chance for players to enjoy a round on a top-class course, regardless of skill level, while networking with industry peers. “We really had it all,” he reports. “It was an absolutely stunning Sydney Winter day, perfect for a round on this world-class course, and the turnout was fantastic, with players from suppliers and industry businesses all embracing the opportunities an event like this provides. “All the teams had enormous fun, with plenty of friendly competition for the array of prizes, particularly the hotly-contested Survival Ball, which brings out the best, and worst, of competitive spirit,” he adds. After the game, players retired to the newly-renovated Club Rooms for drinks, a buffet lunch, and the presentation of prizes. Team Roland topped the competition this year, closely followed by Team Canon. “Above all, this is a day which prioritises fun and camaraderie, and it’s always fantastic to see new connections being made, old friendships being renewed, and so many industry professionals keen to build on the relationships which are so important to the success and enjoyment of our working lives,” Nielsen says. The final events in the 2025 ASGA Sign & Print Golf Series will be at the Brookwater Golf Course & Country Club in Brisbane on Thursday 21 August – click here to register yourself or your team – and the Melbourne event, which is locked in for Thursday 20 November at the Heidelberg Golf Club in Lower Plenty.
