Tuesday, 24 September 2019 Caldera launches TextilePro version 12.1 Caldera has brought out a new version of TextilePro, its production suite for textile printing. The development was shown at ITMA along with changes to its SportsFactory E2E Web-to-workflow solution and Kit Builder custom clothing designer software. Version 12.1 of TextilePro now features RotationBoost, which saves time on the rotation of huge raster files, and Caldera Snapshots, for backing up the installation folder and restoring previously saved backups. Exclusively for CalderaCare users, CalderaJobs can ensure colour reproduction of old jobs by archiving and re-importing jobs, and the latest version also incorporates InkPerformer V3, which Caldera said can lead to ink savings of up to 30%. Caldera and Adobe have announced the integration of the Adobe Textile Designer plugin for Adobe Photoshop with Caldera’s Rip software version 12.1. Adobe Textile Designer is a set of tools for fashion and décor artists to streamline the design process and optimise for print. Integration with Caldera V12.1 ensures accurate pattern repeatability, and correct and consistent color management through the design to production lifecycle. Meanwhile, Caldera SportsFactory - which debuted at Fespa 2018 and offers bespoke workflow building to enable users to create their ideal E2E digital workflow - now has standardised digital printing set-ups tailored to provide colour management, workflow and bi-directional business data between brands and in-house or external print contractors.
