The day is dedicated to inspiring and connecting the next generation of printing industry professionals. Student Day offers exclusive access to students and educators to the most innovative technologies in printing, design, graphics, and production and provides the opportunity to explore careers in the industry. Presented by PRINTING United Alliance in partnership with the Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), Student Day is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment by immersing attendees in real-world applications across all segments of the printing industry, from packaging and commercial print to apparel decoration and wide format graphics. Organiser's note highlights of the day include: • Curated Booth Tours: Students will explore the show floor on guided tours with participating exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge equipment, software, and applications. • Technology Spotlights: Exhibitors can present demos and hands-on experiences to young attendees, highlighting real-world tools in today’s print businesses. • Cutting-Edge Education and Resources: Students and educators will have access to a range of educational sessions led by top industry experts, offering insights into current trends, career paths, and the critical skills needed for the future of print. Explore continuing education opportunities with a stop at the PRINTING United Alliance booth for a special show merchandise activation and experience live demos of the latest iLEARNING+ courses, available free for students and educators. • Interactive Experiences: Through show-floor experiences such as the Apparel Zone, AI Pavilion, hands-on training zones, and more, students will see firsthand how innovation is shaping the future of print. “Student Day is an essential part of our mission to educate and energise the next generation of print professionals,” says Ford Bowers, CEO, PRINTING United Alliance. “The printing industry is thriving with opportunity, and this event gives students a unique chance to connect directly with technology and talent leaders driving that momentum.” Several Expo exhibitors have already signed up to host official booth tours. All exhibitors are invited to participate in the day, with options such as signing up to host booth tours, offering interactive demos, and sharing insights on the roles, skills, and pathways available within their organisations. Organisers say the day is an opportunity to inspire future employees and increase awareness of the industry's evolving workforce needs. “The enthusiasm for the future from the educator communities PGSF works with continues to rise! Students and instructors from high school, trade schools, colleges and universities appreciate the open door, in-depth conversations and engagement they can have with our vendor communities at the Expo,” shares Jules VanSant, PGSF Vice Chair. “The PGSF team is thrilled to bring this event forward once again as a pillar of our Foundation’s annual advocacy and financial funding programs. It’s exciting to see the collective open arms to embrace the next generation. We invite all in education to join the 2025 Student Day activities.” Previous Article Digidelta Releases Decal Dot Matrix for Short-Term Signage Applications Next Article Currie Group and CPP Partnership extends to New Zealand If you have a news story, or story about an interesting project or installation please contact [email protected] Sign up to Image Magazine Newsletter.
