Registrations closing for 30th Annual Letterheads Event

Registrations close this Friday, 22 August, for the 30th Annual Letterheads Meet in Wollongong, where signwriters and craftspeople will gather to celebrate traditional hand-crafted signage.

Letterheads is an informal annual gathering craftspeople and sign enthusiasts from Australia and overseas, celebrating traditional hand-crafted signage. The event has long been recognised as a forum for sharing ideas and techniques and building connections within the trade.

This year, the 30th anniversary of the Australian edition will be celebrated at TAFE NSW Wollongong Campus. Danielle Corti, head teacher of signs and graphics, will lead the program. The gathering will feature workshops in signwriting, airbrushing, gold leaf, pinstriping, marbling, faux effects, and other traditional craft methods.

The three-day program is expected to draw established names in the trade and international guests, highlighting the continuing relevance of traditional skills within the broader signage and graphics sector.
Industry professionals attending will also have the opportunity to connect with suppliers and peers while gaining hands-on experience in the techniques that underpin modern sign practice.
