EFI Showcases its latest innovations at ISA International Sign Expo 2026

EFI has showcased its latest hybrid and roll-to-roll LED inkjet printing technologies at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, Florida.

“The sign and display industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and print providers are looking for new ways to differentiate and grow,” said Todd Zimmerman, CRO of EFI. “ISA Sign Expo is the perfect venue for them to see firsthand how EFI can help them expand their possibilities and profitability.”
Versatile hybrid production with the EFI VUTEk M3h printer

The 3.2-metre EFI VUTEk M3h hybrid flatbed/roll-fed LED printer is designed for high-volume, production-level printing across both rigid and flexible media in a single footprint. Combining versatility with performance, the VUTEk M3h enables print providers to expand into new applications while maintaining high image quality and fast turnaround times.

Users can target premium-margin applications with advanced print capabilities and embellishments, including multi-layer printing of up to five layers with CMYK, white, and optional clear inks. The printer handles board, sheet, or rolled media up to two inches thick, enabling sign and display businesses to explore new materials and applications without compromising productivity.
Paired with the Fiery proServer Premium digital front end, the VUTEk M3h delivers output at production speeds of up to 77 boards per hour and resolutions up to 2400 dpi.

Also featured was the 3.2-metre EFI Pro 33r roll-to-roll LED printer, built for high-quality imaging and production-level output in demanding sign and display environments. The Pro 33r helps businesses increase capacity and reduce operating costs with fast print modes, multi-roll capability, media savings, efficient ink usage, and reduced maintenance.
Instant-on/off LED curing increases uptime, while fewer printhead replacements reduce maintenance time and costs. The printer is available with options including Y-slitters, white ink, UltraClear Coat, and automatic blockout and backlit printing, further expanding application capabilities and streamlining workflows.

EFI also highlighted its Transform-TF LED inks, engineered for thermoforming and non-thermoformed applications and designed to open new opportunities for high-impact 3D graphics.
These inks enable the efficient production of custom-formed signage, point-of-purchase displays, and specialty applications across a wide range of thermoformable plastics and traditional sign and display media. With direct-to-substrate printing, minimal setup, and prints ready for forming immediately, providers can deliver thermoforming jobs quickly and cost-effectively.
Available in CMYK plus white, EFI Transform-TF inks offer a wide colour gamut, strong density for backlit applications, and the flexibility required for multilayer printing. They are engineered to withstand heating and forming, delivering elongation, adhesion, and durability without cracking or loss of image quality.

Transform-TF inks are available for use with EFI Pro 30f+, 16h+, 30h+ and VUTEk M3h printers, allowing businesses to select a configuration suited to their production requirements.
