The webinar highlighted the new features of the printers and demonstrated how full-scale prototypes, moulds, and custom parts can be produced within just hours, instead of weeks. The Massivit 5000 is based on Massivit 3D's advanced photo polymer technology and offers 30 times the speed of other technologies combined with an ultra-large build volume. It is designed to respond to the needs of a range of industries, including Scenic Fabrication, Visual Communication Automotive, Marine, and Architecture. A key new feature of the Massivit 5000 is its Dual Material System, which enables two different parts to be printed in 3D using two different materials simultaneously. Each of the printheads can also be configured with different printing resolutions to prioritise print speeds. The Massivit 5000 is available in both Fast and HD modes and comes complete with a new automated print monitoring system, which points a camera at the two printheads.
