Following a strategic review of its event schedule, Visual Connections has confirmed that the next PacPrint exhibition will now take place in Melbourne from 14th-17th August 2028, ‘to move the event to a three-year cycle and align it more closely with international industry calendars, thereby delivering greater value for exhibitors and visitors’.

Karren Challoner-Miles, CEO of Visual Connections, said the updated schedule responds directly to industry feedback and changing market dynamics. “PacPrint remains a critical platform for the industry. Moving to a three-year cycle allows us to deliver a larger, more impactful event that better meets the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike.”

The revised timing will also enable stronger alignment with major global exhibitions, giving local businesses improved access to the latest innovations and product releases soon after their international debut. The newly timed event, for example, will follow the next drupa expo in Düsseldorf in May 2028.

In the intervening years, Visual Connections will continue to support the industry through a program of targeted events. The next major event on the calendar is the Visual Impact Conference & Expo 2026, (2nd-4th September, Sydney Showgrounds), which will run as a standalone exhibition for the digital print, sign and graphics sector, alongside conferences and new initiatives designed to keep businesses informed and connected.

Mitch Mulligan, President of Visual Connections, affirms: “Both our Board and the VC team are focused on building a more dynamic and valuable event portfolio for the industry. There is plenty for the sector to look forward to in future, with a strong pipeline of activity planned between now and 2028.”
