Ball & Doggett puts problem-solving centre stage at Visual Impact 2026
Ball & Doggett’s Visual Impact 2026 stand is built around the theme “Run Further,” structured to identify where print and manufacturing businesses are running into problems – whether in production, staffing or automation – and address those directly. Rob Brussolo, General Manager, Sign, Display & Digital, says the approach is a shift away from a straightforward product showcase.
“It’s a stand that we want to take businesses and understand where they’re going, what their pain points are, and really provide solutions rather than just talking about product,” Brussolo says.
“We’ve got a team of experts in printing equipment, CNC and industrial equipment, through to media solutions that we have flown in from around the country, ,” Brussolo says. The team is there to talk through where visitors’ production bottlenecks are, whether that’s on the factory floor, in staffing, or in how much of the process is automated. We can then take you to each of our vendor partners including HP, Roland and Mimaki, who have all of the hardware technology on display at the show to discuss how the benefits of various solutions.
Brussolo goes on to explain it’s also about the support we offer after the show. “We would have one of the largest service teams in the country. A lot of people don’t realise that,” Brussolo says. Seventeen engineers now cover the sign and display side of the business, working across CNC routers, lasers, printing and finishing equipment, digital cutters and heat presses.
“It’s really about how we optimise the products that people have purchased and make sure that we’ve got no downtime, because every minute that a printer’s equipment is down, they’re losing money,” he says. Minimising downtime is one of five pillars Ball & Doggett has set out for supporting customers.
The company has application specialists on site at the show. Ball and Doggett represents a wide range of consumables brands including Metamark, Avery Dennison, and R Tape across self-adhesive vinyls, alongside a rigid portfolio for point-of-sale materials. Brussolo says the emphasis is shifting from moving product to helping customers get more out of what they buy which is why we are launching our Metamark Academy later this year.
