HP Launches New DesignJet Z6/Z9+ Printers at FESPA 2026
HP has announced the launch of its new DesignJet Z6/Z9+ large-format printers at FESPA 2026, expanding its professional graphics portfolio with enhanced colour accuracy, faster production speeds and improved workflow integration for print service providers and creative professionals.
The new HP DesignJet Z6/Z9+ series is designed to support high-quality photo printing, fine art reproduction, retail signage and technical applications, combining advanced printhead technology with automated colour management and cloud-enabled production tools.
According to HP, the printers deliver significantly improved productivity through faster print processing, reduced maintenance requirements and automated media handling capabilities. The systems also introduce expanded colour gamut performance and upgraded spectrophotometer technology to support precise brand colour reproduction.
“Print professionals are seeking greater efficiency without compromising quality,” said Maria Chen, Global Head of Large Format Print Solutions at HP. “The new DesignJet Z6/Z9+ series is engineered to help customers meet demanding production schedules while maintaining exceptional output consistency across a wide range of applications.”
The DesignJet Z9+ model includes dual-roll functionality, integrated vertical trimming and advanced ICC profile automation designed to streamline high-volume print workflows. The Z6 model is positioned for photographic and GIS applications requiring high-definition detail and colour precision.
HP also highlighted sustainability improvements across the new series, including reduced energy consumption, recyclable cartridge materials and support for water-based inks intended to minimise environmental impact while maintaining durability and colour vibrancy.
The new printers integrate with HP PrintOS and remote management tools, enabling operators to monitor production, manage queues and optimise device performance across multiple locations.
The HP DesignJet Z6/Z9+ printers are expected to become commercially available in selected markets from July 2026. Additional regional rollout details, technical specifications and pricing information will be announced closer to release.
