Three EPSON SureColor Printers Win an iF Design Award 2025
Epson has won multiple iF Design Awards 2025, for three of its large-format dye-sublimation and Inkjet Printers.
The award-winning models include:
The SureColor SC-F9500/9500H series & SC-S9100 series
These industrial large-format printers provide the same image quality and productivity at a 300 mm lower height than previous models.
The reduced height allows the models to fit into smaller spaces than their predecessors. They also feature a flat top surface for checking prints, a lifter to assist with setting heavy media, and a large cover for easy maintenance. These features reduce operators’ psychological and physical burden, promoting a comfortable and safe working environment.
Large-Format Inkjet Printer: SureColor SC-P20500 Series
This 64-inch aqueous pigment large-format inkjet printer is designed to enhance image quality and productivity for the photo and fine art markets. The use of high-capacity ink packs reduces the frequency of ink replacement by operators and cuts waste volume to about one-tenth. Additionally, the flat top surface can be used for work, improving space efficiency. The aesthetic aims for a high-performance and sophisticated appearance, with a white exterior that will suit a cleaner printing environment in the future.
The remaining awards have been won by the WorkForce Enterprise AMC550/400, a business inkjet printer, the Projector models EH-QL3000B/W & EH-QL7000B/W, and
The Auto Color Chart Reading Portable Table pairs with EPSON Colorimiters to colour match on the large format printers.
The EPSON products were chosen from a field of 11,000 entries and selected by a jury of 131 experts convened by iF International Forum Design GmbH to assess the best and most innovative industrial product designs. The award honours only products that meet a wide range of strict criteria, including practicality, craftsmanship, innovation, environmental consideration, functionality, usability, safety, aesthetics, and universal design.
