DuPont Artistri showcasing expanded DTF Offering at Impressions Expo

DuPont will be exhibiting an expanded product offering at the Impressions Expo from January 23-25 in Long Beach, California. The expo brings together the apparel decoration industry to experience the latest technologies and applications in one place, with several live demos and product launches.

The DuPont team will display its Artistri digital inkjet ink offerings in textile applications, highlighting the addition of an expanded gamut of colours to the Artistri P1600 direct-to-film (DTF) pigment ink set. The series is ideal for printers demanding consistency, high productivity and vibrant colours on a variety of fabrics. The company is also introducing its DTF-120 film, a premium transfer film specially developed for the direct-to-film digital printing application, supporting various apparel and specialty applications. Backed by more than 35 years of leadership in the digital inkjet industry, DuPont Artistri DTF-120 film includes DuPont’s full application technical support. The film is designed to work with both hot and cold peel methods and deliver vibrant colours with a dry touch.

Robert Simpson, the Americas and EMEA Business Leader for DuPont Artistri Digital Inks said, “Direct-to-film (DTF) printing technology has quickly gained traction for its versatility and quality in textile printing. We are happy to introduce new gamut-expanding inks and announce a film offering that is coming soon to complement our ink portfolio. We are eager to connect with our customers and share more details.”
Garment decorators will benefit from brightly printed fabrics while contributing to their brands’ sustainability goals as all DuPont products, including the Artistri P1600 inks, participate in our updated portfolio sustainability assessment methodology that uses safer-by-design principles to assess and evaluate potential health and environmental risks. They are classified as non-hazardous under the US GHS (Globally Harmonized System) and are made without introductions of HAPS (hazardous air pollutants).

DuPont pigment inks have OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification, ZDHC MRSL Conformance Level 3, and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification.

During the show, visitors will see the print performance of the Artistri technology with a DTF printer from Cobraflex on the stand.
