HP to launch new unified global partner program ‘Amplify’ in November

HP has unveiled its new partner program ‘Amplify’ to replace its previous Partner First program. To be launched in November, the program includes entry level (Synergy) and advanced (Power) categories, which give partners the autonomy to choose exactly how they want to work with HP in order to grow their profitability. It will officially go into effect on a global scale (with the exception of China) on 1 November 2020.

Amplify is a consolidation of  HP’s best partner products, tools and trainings into one intuitive program, and makes it easier for partners to take advantage of its many benefits and to engage customers on a deeper level. It incentivises partners based on more criteria than just sales revenue. HP Amplify will also measure rewards based on new performance indicators, including investing in and improving digital skills, service delivery capabilities, e-commerce and omnichannel experiences and secure data collaboration. The partner program breaks new ground in analytics and insights, differentiating the program from those offered by other vendors.

“Today’s buyer expects streamlined, automated and personalised experiences. To thrive in this changing environment – with data as the new currency - requires a combined shift to relate to our customers as individuals, not markets,” said Christoph Schell, HP Chief Commercial Officer. “HP Amplify not only makes it easier for partners to do business with HP - it provides partners with a clear path to ready their business and succeed in today’s environment and beyond – to capitalise on emerging trends and play a central role in the evolving customer buying journey.”

Driving greater partner efficiency, insight and profitability, HP Amplify focuses on three core pillars: performance, capabilities and collaboration.

• Performance:  HP will reward partners for Performance indicators (beyond sales revenue) such as investing in and improving digital skills, data sharing, e-commerce, omni-experience solutions and services capabilities.

• Capabilities: By integrating data capture and analysis, HP Amplify allows partners who invest in improving their capabilities to become more competitive, relevant and ultimately, more profitable.

• Collaboration: The HP-partner collaboration will help partners hone their digital skills to provide a more consistent customer experience across multiple channels and produce valuable new insights and enhance the customer journey.

As an extension of the company’s new global program, HP is also introducing HP Amplify Impact, inviting all partners to join HP in its pledge to address issues involving the planet, people and community. This includes working toward a circular, low-carbon economy; respecting human rights, enable people across the value chain to thrive; and cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture; and unlocking educational and economic opportunity while improving the vitality and resilience of local communities

HP will work closely with partners in the coming months to share details about the new program to ensure they are prepared for the transition.
