Thursday, 22 October 2020 International Print Day 2020 partners with PRINTING United Digital Experience (26 Oct - 12 Nov) International Print Day (#IPD20), which was held on 21 October this year, has partnered with the PRINTING United Digital Experience to share information about the inaugural event which runs from 26 October to 12 November. Founded by Deborah Corn in 2014 and hosted by Print Media Centr, International Print Day is an annual 24 hours of global celebration for all aspects of print and print marketing. The event provides an opportunity to promote, share, and learn about print. Mostly done through social media, involvement in International Print Day is shown via tweets or posts containing the relevant hashtag of the year (i.e. #IPD20 this year). As a global print community event, it takes place over many time zones. This year it started in Australia at 9am on 21 October and ended at 6pm eastern time (ET) on 21 October. Participants are from the print industry and marketing community as well as other related industries such as design, packaging, publishing, supplies, etc. and can use the event to: Showcase products Introduce their teams Present interesting facts Announce events Inspire others Share why they love print The PRINTING United Digital Experience, which runs from 26 October to 12 November, features three power-packed weeks of new product launches and segment-based content sessions that focus on apparel, digital textile, industrial, graphics/wide-format, commercial, packaging, mailing and fulfillment. The multifaceted online experience includes a wealth of information and insight from leading analysts, researchers, subject matter experts, OEMs, and suppliers.
