Wednesday, 15 November 2023 Global Trends Report released by drupa The ninth drupa Global Trends report has been released. The report tracks key economic and market developments across the print industry globally, regionally and within markets. Confidence levels were found to be growing across all markets and almost all regions despite challenging economic headwinds. Over 600 printers and suppliers contributed to the data in two separate surveys. The participating panel members get free access to crucial data to help them best assess how to invest and develop their companies in what is, as always, a challenging market and broader socio-economic environment. The separate surveys were conducted in May and June this year and share many questions but ensure that their differing interests of printers and suppliers are addressed. Both suppliers and printers rely on diversification as a path to growth, with 33% of commercial printers reporting their first choice in technology investment to be digital inkjet wide-format technology. The report was authored by Printfuture (UK) and Wissler & Partner (Switzerland), a free Executive summary is available at https://www.drupa.com/en/Press/Global_Trends_Reports/Summary.
