Initially approved as ISO/TS 16949 by the ISO International Standards Organisation, IATF 16949 specifies requirements for quality management system processes that promote continuous improvement, the prevention of defects and the reduction of non-conformance and scraps in the supply chain. This standard is internationally recognised as a benchmark in the automotive industry.
