Thursday, 23 April 2020 AFI Branding produces sustainable branded fabric face masks during COVID-19 In a bid to help slow the spread of COVID-19, AFI Branding has introduced its side hustle #heroeswearmasks - a range of colourful fabric face masks for every day Aussies, made in Victoria. Although not medical grade, the masks offer that extra bit of protection when heading out. Each mask is made of high grade, woven, sustainable 200gsm fabric which is hard-wearing and machine washable. They are available in ‘one size fits all’ 200mm x 170mm (excluding ties), weigh 15g each and have adjustable straps. While it’s not a legal requirement to wear a face mask in public in Australia, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that even seemingly healthy people wear masks over their mouths and noses when venturing out of their homes into places where it is difficult to social distance.
