FESPA Australia presents Colour Management Bootcamp webinar series

After the successful online workshop by PRINTING UNITED’s Ray Weiss, FESPA Australia has announced the Colour Management Bootcamp series of three day online courses for professional printers. The first of these series will be held from 26 to 28 October 2020 for three hours each day, to be hosted by Jonny Rumney and Garth Koppel from Celmac, both certified instructors in colour management.

“The goal of these sessions is to develop professionals who understand colour theory and principles and can manage consistent, predictable and repeatable colour on any system they manage,” says Nigel Davies, President of FESPA Australia. “The first colour management bootcamp was a big success and exceeded our expectations with excellent feedback from students.”

The new look comprehensive online training webinars have been designed to be as interactive as possible with livestream Q&A. Courses will address issues with colour control and help attendees produce crisper and more vivid colours, more consistently. Course content will cover colour theory and principles, goals of colour management, device calibration, time-tested procedures, newest print standards, spot colours, and print verification.

“FESPA Australia believes that our industry benefits when we leverage the technical expertise within our supplier community to educate our members. The Colour Management bootcamps are an example of how FESPA Australia is seeking to further best practice in this area. We are very fortunate to work alongside these industry experts who have a wealth of experience gained from many years in the industry,” adds Nigel.
