It is designed to help the global print network to adopt the latest industry trends and acts as a barometer of the industry's wellbeing. Graeme Richardson-Locke, FESPA Head of Associations and Technical Lead, provides some insight on why the reach of the third FESPA Print Census will be bigger and more inclusive than its predecessors. The previous census in 2018 was completed pre-pandemic and had 2000 respondents. FESPA is hoping to increase the number of respondents sufficiently to provide national-level reporting and granularity. Key areas covered include software automation and the investment into digital technologies post-pandemic. The census has been translated and is available in twenty-four languages. Translations have been validated by the FESPA global community members. Comparisons to the 2018 census will include tracking concerns around environmental sustainability, which influenced 76% of respondents in the previous census, and investments in sustainability. The census will also capture the expansion of services offered by individual companies and the diversity of offerings. Respondents to the survey will be entered into a prize-draw for free accommodation for FESPA Global Print Expo 2023 in Munich and will also receive a key summary report of the findings of the survey in the spring of 2023. The survey will remain open until the end of 2022 and can be found at https://www.fespa.com/en/become-a-member/fespa-print-census Previous Article Inaugural ASGA Victorian Golf Day a hole-in-one success Next Article Women in print release gender equality policy Print 624
