Women in Print to Focus on Heath and Wellbeing at 2025 Breakfast Series

Women in Print Australia has announced the release of tickets for its 2025 Breakfast Series, which brings together women across the print industry for connection, inspiration, and meaningful conversations. The series will include a lunch in Hobart.

This year, the series theme is Nourish to Flourish. Across the country and breaking with tradition, each city will feature a different speaker or panel that will share their insights and expertise on everything from physical and mental health to the role of happiness and self-care in bringing out our best selves. Organisers say all events will be tailored to inspire and support women in the industry.

Stephanie Gaddin, Chair of Women in Print Australia, says, “Every year, the Women in Print Breakfast Series is an opportunity for our industry to come together, learn from remarkable speakers, and foster the sense of community that makes print so special.

“With Canberra on the calendar for a second time and Hobart hosting a Lunch Edition, we’re expanding our reach and making space for even more voices to be heard.”

Melbourne – April 3, 2025 (Parkroyal Monash, Clayton): Speaker Craig Harper will deliver a keynote on Being Your Optimal Self. Melbourne attendees will also have access to a 15% discount from the Parkroyal Monash to use at the hotel for those wishing to stay the night before the breakfast.

Hobart – April 4, 2025 (Crowne Plaza, Hobart): Stephanie Gaddin and Rita Karagiannis will host this lunch event, which will focus on networking and community building and highlight the value of industry connections."As Patron for Victoria and Tasmania, I am incredibly excited to connect with the Tasmanian print community at the Women in Print Lunch next month,” added Karagiannis.
Canberra – April 8, 2025 (Instant Colour Press, Conference Centre, Belconnen, ACT): Instant Colour Press will host the second Women in Print Breakfast in the Federal Capital, again making the use of their adjoining conference centre available to Women in Print. Speaker Teresa Wojcik will help the growing Women in Print ACT community to find their style, ensuring confidence and professionalism for work or when seeking their next role or promotion.

Karen Lawler, Patron for both NSW and ACT, says, “As the ACT Patron for Women in Print, I am also thrilled to be joining the Canberra print community at the second Breakfast in the ACT. I look forward to meeting everyone as we come together to learn, grow, and strengthen our community."

Adelaide – April 9, 2025 (The Terrace Hotel, Adelaide): Mental health and wellbeing therapist Brenda Snyman will lead a keynote titled "Get Back on the Happiness Track – Happiness to Accelerate Success." This session will challenge outdated beliefs about success and offer practical steps to boost happiness, resilience, and long-term fulfilment.

In our current modern lives, stress and burnout are all too common; her insights will help us reframe our approach, providing practical, research-backed strategies to build resilience, boost fulfilment, and create a sustainable pathway to success. Sydney – April 10, 2025 (Commbank Stadium, Parramatta): Changing up things in Sydney, the breakfast will host a panel discussion that digs into the topic of health and wellbeing with Samantha Flook, Strategic Psychotherapist & Mindset Coach at The Core Health;   Industry mental health advocate and founder of Anchor Health Group, Steven Gamble;  National Marketing Manager at Ball & Doggett, Que Nhi Makar; and Carmen Ciappara, National Advertising Manager at The Printer Media Group. 

"Women in Print in Sydney is taking a fresh approach this year. Instead of a traditional keynote, we’re hosting an interactive panel discussion, inviting everyone to contribute and engage. Our expert panellists will share their insights on mental, physical, and emotional well-being, creating a space to learn from each other and walk away with real, actionable strategies. We can’t wait to welcome you to what promises to be a truly dynamic and inspiring event,” says Lawler.

The discussion will be facilitated by Sarah Cassim, a multi-award-winning community leader and founder of Hawkesbury Women in Business, known for her advocacy in mental health awareness, leadership, and small business.

Brisbane – April 11, 2025 (Manly Harbour Boat Club, Manly, QLD): Featuring keynote speakers Michelle Anne and Diane McKendrick from Those2Sisters, this breakfast will be emceed by Ranger Stacey and promises to be equal parts engaging and transformative. The duo will tackle the session with a blend of science and mindset mastery.

The new Patron for QLD, Kerry-Ann Boyd, says, "I am excited to welcome our Women in Print community to this year’s Brisbane Breakfast at the Manly Harbour Boat Club.
