CNC, LASER & ENGRAVING machine operator

We are looking for an experienced CNC, LASER & ENGRAVING machine operator to join our team full-time that not only knows how to run the machines but understand material & machine capabilities & limitations. We are looking for someone who is driven, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure independently & in a team environment.

We're also open to looking at someone that has a background in signage and willing to learn to become the head operator

The successful applicant’s role will be responsible for:

• Tool-pathing & Operating Multicam CNC router
• File setup & operation of various laser cutters & etching machines
• File setup & operation of Gravograph Engraver
• Understanding of what is required for production and quality level needing to be achieved for next stage of production
• Maintain machines for optimum performance 
• Scheduling work & communicating within the team 

Secondary role responsible for:

• Assisting in signage production and Installation as required to meet deadlines
   

Skills Required & will be of benefit to the role:

• Previous signage or CNC machining background (min. 5 years)
• Strong attention to detail
• Machine & material knowledge, use & capabilities
• Proficient in use of design & toolpathing software (Enroute / Gravostyle / Corel draw / Adobe Illustrator and other vector based softwares) 
• Ability to communicate & work in a team environment 
• Self-motivated & organised
