Monday, 1 March 2021 Smartech acquires Quadient Oceania: expands footprint in Asia-Pacific Smartech Business Systems recently acquired Quadient Oceania (formerly known as Neopost Australia) and has plans to significantly expand its footprint in Asia-Pacific. “Headquartered in Hong Kong with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific Region, Smartech’s plans for continual expansion and further capital investment have been accelerated by the acquisition of Quadient Oceania. The company is now on-track to significantly expanding its footprint in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific,” said Vincent Nair, CEO Smartech Business Systems, in a written announcement by the company. Vincent confirmed that Smartech is thrilled with the opportunity to grow its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and expand the number of solutions it will be offering to its clients while continuing to collaborate with Quadient as its trusted supplier. “Quadient Oceania’s range of technology solutions for the graphics industries blends perfectly with Smartech’s strong regional business model. Being a Quadient dealer throughout Asia we are familiar with much of the product portfolio and consider the acquisition as a great addition to our existing portfolio. Offering us the opportunity to extend our product line to new international markets, as well as strengthen our marketing and sales capabilities in the region,” he stated.
