Power of Print Webinars Extends to Include Mental Wellness

The Real Media Collective has announced a bonus Power of Print webinar session to provide support for mental wellness across Australia and New Zealand. Power of Print is a webinar series set to provide knowledge from expert speakers focused on sales and business skills in the printing industry “through 2021 and Beyond”. Steven Gamble, founder of Man Anchor and well-known industry expert in mental wellness, will kick off the session providing tools to apply to daily lives both in and out of lockdown.

“The second lockdown across New Zealand has created more challenges for the industry as genuine fatigue sets in. This session is timely,” commented Ruth Cobb, Chief Executive Officer of PrintNZ.

Adding to the session will be a wider discussion with industry leaders from PrintNZ, to The Lamson Group and more, including The Real Media Collective, who put this webinar series together, sharing their stories across mental wellness throughout COVID and beyond.

The series began on 23rd of June of this year and has run for ten weeks, and all previous sessions are available on the website. Each session runs for about an hour and is packed with valuable information for anyone in the printing business in 2021. The series was due to conclude last week, however an announcement was made for this bonus session on mental wellness.

“Konica Minolta have been thrilled to support the Power of Print initiative and this added session was a no-brainer… We welcome a really positive discussion to support us all enrich our mental wellness at these difficult times,” commented Sue Threlfo, General Manager of Konica Minolta.

Steven Gamble is a well-known mental health crusader, bringing focus across the importance of mental health for all. A key mantra of Steven’s is, ‘health is health’, where he believes that mental health, where illnesses considered ‘small’ such as anxiety or depression should have as much weight as something like a broken leg or ankle.

The webinar will be held Wednesday 8th September, 1230pm AESTD / 230pm NZT. Both members and non-members are encouraged to attend.
