DuPont showcases new textile printing inks at Printing United

DuPont Artistri Digital Inks has announced the company will exhibit a complete portfolio of digital printing solutions at Printing United 2022. For textile printing, DuPont will highlight Artistri Brite P5500, the newest addition to its pigment inks for DTG (direct to garment) and DTF (direct to film) applications. The company will also feature an extensive RTR (roll to roll) range, including Artistri Xite P2700 and P3600 pigment inks.

The new Artistri P5500 ink set delivers improved wash fastness with both press or oven curing and with faster curing times. Artistri P5590 white ink offers the opacity and stretch that customers value, along with longer shelf life. This high gamut volume aqueous-based inks package is designed to work in printers with low-viscosity piezo-electric printheads and is suitable for all DTG applications, including DTF printing. With the Artistri P5500, printers can tailor their ink usage to the application without compromising colour, fastness or repeatability.

For RTR printers, Artistri Xite P2700 pigment inks offer a best-in-class colour gamut with deep, rich blacks, outstanding colour saturation and superior durability, meeting the needs of quality-conscious textile printers in apparel and home furnishings. “We are delighted to deliver a full solution that enables leading printing performance in all the areas that contribute to our textile customers’ success:  brilliant and durable colours with less ink usage with reduced curing times while still delivering printing consistency and dependability to help lower operations and maintenance costs,” says Robert Simpson, Americas Business Director, DuPont Artistri Digital Inks.

Across industries, brand owners and printers are focused on improving sustainability of their printing solutions while maintaining high level of quality and productivity. “Artistri aqueous pigment inks are a key asset for digital printing customers looking for short runs, customization and a shortened supply chain, while addressing the demand for sustainability,” Robert concludes.
