Easy Print to close signage fabrication business

Easy Print has announced it is closing its signage fabrication side of the business, in a move that will see the business morph into a print, pack and send business. Easy Print will be an online business only, with no shop front for walk-in customers.

Easy Print has been serving businesses in Goulburn, Canberra, Queanbeyan and the South Tablelands region for many years. Founded in 1996 by Craig Maddren as Signs R Us, the business was rebranded to become Signage One in 2001. Now aligned with today’s modern new business strategy; Signage One was renamed Easy Print in December 2021.

Says Craig, “The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on how businesses operate. It has demonstrated to us that we do not always need to conduct business face-to-face. The majority of clients now prefer to email or order online, with the exception of the occasional phone call. We have a fantastic graphic design and customer service team who will continue to share our extensive experience in terms of design and material selection.”

With the change of business focus, there is a wide array of used equipment for sale, including a Tekcel Router, SCM Panel Saw, H.J Dye guillotine, and lots of workshop and engineering equipment.

All equipment will be sold at auction opening 4pm Wednesday 8th March through to 8pm 14th March. Inspections are welcome on 10am-2pm on Monday 13th of March. “I chose Grays to run the auction as I have worked with them previously and they have done a fantastic job preparing the auction catalogue and marketing, to ensure we get the national reach I’m looking for”, said Craig.

All equipment and stock will be sold at unreserved auction by Grays at: https://www.grays.com/sale/5050178
