Wednesday, 7 February 2024 Entries Open for Currie Group 2024 National Sign & Graphics Awards The Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) has announced that entries for the 2024 National Sign & Graphics Awards are open via the competition’s online portal. The Awards are held every second year to recognise and reward sign companies for achieving excellence across modern, digital and traditional signage and to showcase the array of talent within the Australian industry. This year, leading supplier Currie Group has taken out naming rights with the Diamond Sponsorship of the event. They are joined by Gold Sponsors Avery Dennison, Graphic Art Mart, Orafol, Spandex and Visual Connections, Silver Sponsor SMIB and Bronze Sponsors Ball & Doggett and Pozitive. Entries for the 2024 Awards opened on Thursday, 1 February 2024, and will close at 5 pm on Friday, 7 June 2024. To be eligible, projects submitted must be completed between Tuesday, 8 March 2022 and Friday, 31 May 2024. Mick Harrold, President of ASGA, encouraged all businesses to take up the opportunity to enter, saying there were many positive benefits. “Awards provide a great opportunity for businesses to showcase the accomplishments of their teams and also promote their capabilities in a competitive market,” he says. “Entering is a real vote of confidence in your people, boosting morale, and it also demonstrates the quality of your work to your clients. The recognition you receive will be an invaluable marketing tool for your business, providing tangible recognition of your abilities and building confidence and credibility with current and potential customers.” The Awards will be judged later in the year, and the winners will be recognised at a gala Presentation Dinner at Doltone House, Hyde Park, Sydney, on Friday, 6 September 2024. “Over the years, the biennial Awards Presentation has become the premier event on the sign and graphics industry calendar, where we come together to recognise our achievements and celebrate our exciting and dynamic sector,” says Harrold. “If you’re proud of the work you’ve done over the past couple of years, take a bit of time and submit an entry. If you’re a supplier, think about supporting your industry by sponsoring the Awards. And for everyone involved in the sector, put the date of the Gala Dinner in your diary now and make sure you attend, bring your team, and host your customers; it’s going to be a great celebration. “It is said often, but is worth repeating, that, of course, events like these would not be possible without the generous support of industry leaders. We sincerely thank Currie Group and our other sponsors this year for their support of our industry,” concluded Harrold.
