Tuesday, 28 May 2024 Avery Dennison launches PVC free SP 3522 Opaque Matte Avery Dennison has expanded its Sustainable Print portfolio by introducing the SP 3522 Opaque Matte digital print film. This film offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional PVC-based digital print films. Designed for mid-term promotions, SP 3522 promises durability of up to three years, making it ideal for temporary installations, transit advertising, and dynamic promotional campaigns. Jordan Leach, Business Manager for ANZ & ASEAN at Avery Dennison, emphasises the brand's dedication to sustainability, saying, "At Avery Dennison, we are deeply committed to creating a Sustainable Graphics portfolio that aligns with our sustainability goals. Our team continuously innovates to ensure we offer high-quality, sustainable products so our customers never have to choose between sustainability and performance." The SP 3522 Opaque Matte highlights Avery Dennison's commitment to sustainability and innovation. The digital print film significantly reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy consumption, and carbon footprint. It is free from chlorine, phthalates, and other halogens and lowers emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), aligning perfectly with the growing demand for environmentally responsible products. Featuring high-quality printing capabilities on Latex and UV inkjet printers, SP 3522 has a removable adhesive that provides flexibility and ease in installations where changeability is paramount. Additionally, the matte white film is ideal for unlaminated indoor graphics, and when coupled with grey adhesive, it offers high opacity, ensuring prints are striking and attention-grabbing. The product is also easy to convert thanks to its StaFlat liner, which saves time and enhances productivity. With this launch, Avery Dennison is expanding the SP 3500 series, including SP 3523 Opaque Matte, featuring a general-purpose Permanent Adhesive. Avery Dennison's sustainability goals focus on reducing its carbon footprint and advancing the circular economy. The SP 3522 Opaque Matte is just one of many products in the company's portfolio contributing to these goals. The SP 3522 Opaque Matte digital print film will be available from Avery Dennison Distributors in Australia and New Zealand starting 28th May 2024.
