Tuesday, 23 July 2024 Photo Gallery - FESPA Australia SS Signs Open House SS Signs, one of Australia's leading signage companies, hosted a FESPA Australia Open House during the Visual Impact Show in Brisbane last week. Attendees were impressed by the size and scale of the operation and the level of detail that has been designed into the purpose-built facility. Nigel Davies, President of FESPA Australia, highlighted the important role these Open House events play in creating a relaxed environment where people can network and learn from each other. He also noted the critical role that SS Signs is playing in bringing the next generation of sign makers into the industry through its apprenticeship program, which provides comprehensive in-house training and practical hands-on experience. In addition to touring the 3800sqm state-of-the-art signage facility, there was a demonstration of the Digitech TruFire LTX2 printer paired with an Aristo 6m long cutter, printing and cutting more than 60 8' x 4' sheets an hour with a single operator, the first installation of its kind in Australia, in partnership with Celmac. Steve Lambourne, owner of SS Signs, said, "We invest in the latest technology and leading-edge hardware not just to service our customer base quickly and efficiently but to create the most positive and productive work environment for our team members, who are our most important asset."
