HEXIS celebrates thirty-five years of business growth

HEXIS is celebrating thirty-five years of manufacturing self-adhesive films. Since 1989, the HEXIS Group has been defined by its commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction. 

The company was established in July of 1989 with a clear vision of producing high-quality self-adhesive films for various industries; HEXIS quickly positioned itself as a significant player in the sector. 

In the 1990s, the group shifted the focus of its international development to the European market, with a solid network of distributors on all five continents. In 1994, HEXIS UK was established in the United Kingdom as the first franchisee. Three years later, the team launched the company’s line of digital printing media. 

Innovation as a driver for growth 

HEXIS invests an average of 2.5% of its turnover in Research & Development to improve its products and meet the changing needs of its clients. It says that through its technical expertise and ability to adapt, HEXIS offers tailor-made self-adhesive solutions that stand out in the market. 

Behind every innovation and quality self-adhesive film is a dedicated employee, with the company saying, “Our employees are our greatest asset, and their expertise and commitment are essential to our success. With these dedicated teams and rigorous manufacturing processes, HEXIS achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2005.”

The company opened a second production site in Hagetmau, in the Landes region, in 2010 as it continued to expand.

The network of distributors continued to grow with the addition of the United States in 2020.

Regarding the global trend towards sustainable manufacturing and sustainable products, the company says, “As a responsibly managed manufacturer, we are aware of our environmental impact and committed to adopting sustainable practices. HEXIS is doing its utmost to reduce its environmental impact every day. The objective is to produce self-adhesive films that not only meet the needs of our customers but are also environment-friendly. This is why more and more of our product lines feature PVC-free alternatives.”
