Wednesday, 30 October 2019 Epson launches impressive stable of new products The Studio in Roseberry, Sydney, formed the backdrop to the unique ‘Productivity and Efficiency’ product launch hosted by Epson on Tuesday. Recently appointed Epson MD Craig Heckenberg detailed the latest in Epson consumer printers, large format printers, projectors and document solutions - including several new, never-seen-before products and experiences. Highlights from the launch included: - The new 44-inch SureColor P9560, Epson’s first-ever 12 colour large-format printer offering the widest ever colour gamut with 99% Pantone coverage. - Two new dye-sublimation printers: (1) the 64-inch SureColor F9460H dye-sublimation printer, Epson’s first genuine fluorescent ink, dye-sublimation, textile printing solution; and (2) the new SureColor F560, a ‘world-first’, single-vendor, 24-inch dye-sublimation printer with integrated bulk ink system designed for small business and fine art production. - The on-demand ColorWorks C6010 and C6510 label printer range that includes auto-cutter models and time-saving auto-peeler models that automatically remove the label backing paper and can be integrated seamlessly into existing print-and-apply production line systems. - Two new projectors: (1) Epson’s brightest 3LCD projector to date, the 30,000 lumens EB-L30000UNL, which boasts a maintenance-free laser light source that provides 20,000 hours of operation; and (2)the compact 7,000 lumens EB-L1070UNL - as with the EB-L30000UNL, it features 4K enhancement technology and interchangeable lenses. - EH-LS500 ultra-short-throw laser projector: the unique big-screen TV alternative that was seen for the first time at the event. - Six new EcoTank printers: consisting of five new EcoTank single and multi-function mono models (ET-M1170, ET-M1180, ET-M2170, ET-M3170 and ET-M3180) and the ET-1110 single function colour model – all of which are cheaper to run and are better for the environment than equivalent laser printers. The launch of the new printers coincided with the milestone of selling over 40 million of these printers globally, confirmed Bruce Bealby, General Manager - Sales & Marketing for Epson Australia's Consumer Division, who also spoke at the event. - A 1970s Porsche Carrera, camouflaged in ‘rusted’ artwork on Avery Dennison wrapping film, and printed on an Epson SureColor S80660L eco-solvent printer. “The common themes for this event are a significant increase in productivity and efficiency in all Epson products across the board,” said Craig Heckenberg. “It’s fair to say our products are better than they have ever been on many levels, including being kinder to the environment. You can now print faster, onto more substances and use less ink than ever before.
