Tuesday, 15 July 2025 Trotec Laser Australia to support Universal Laser users after LST Liquidation Following the recent liquidation of the LST Group, Trotec Laser Australia has stepped in to ensure ongoing support to customers with Universal Laser systems. Trotec says it has acquired LST’s remaining Universal Laser spare parts and IPI plastics, which are now available for immediate dispatch. Additionally, many former LST Group staff are joining Trotec Australia, with roles including service technicians and customer support staff. The company says this will ensure continuity and familiarity for clients in the field and over the phone. The company says Universal Laser system users can now access reliable support from its nationwide team of experienced technicians, with essential spare parts readily available. “We understand this is a time of uncertainty for many businesses,” says Reece Moore, Managing Director of Trotec Laser Australia. “Our priority is to offer a stable, trusted hand, ensuring customers are not left without options or support.” Trotec adds that it has not acquired the LST Group and will not offer support for 3D printers, which lie outside its scope of expertise. To assist clients with the transition, Trotec has rolled out a single and double preventative maintenance package offer, with discounted pricing. The packages are available until 31 August, and apply to metro customers. Regional customers are advised to contact Trotec to discuss a tailored offer. In addition to technical support, Trotec offers a wide range of high-quality laser engraving and cutting materials, which now includes the IPI plastics acquired from LST. “We want LST customers to know they are not alone,” Moore adds. “Trotec is here, ready to provide the expertise, resources, and care needed to keep your operations moving forward.” Previous Article Out of Home Industry Continues Q2 Growth Next Article PRINTING United Alliance announces strategic programs for AI If you have a news story, or story about an interesting project or installation please contact [email protected] Sign up to Image Magazine Newsletter.
