Tuesday, 29 July 2025 Orafol Unveils Oralite 5095 Anti-Graffiti Film Orafol has expanded its anti-graffiti range with the launch of Oralite 5095, a new overlaminate film designed to offer long-term protection without compromising the visibility or effectiveness of signage. The product is built on the technology of its Oraguard 372 Anti-Graffiti Polyester Overlaminate. Developed specifically for outdoor applications, Oralite 5095 is engineered to protect signage from soiling, damage, and wear for up to 10 years in vertical exposure conditions. Its ultra-transparent finish maintains photometric performance and colour accuracy, helping ensure signs remain clear and legible in all lighting conditions. Orafol notes that Oralite 5095 meets or exceeds a range of international standards. The film has been tested on aluminium substrates for temperature resistance from -56°C to 90°C and offers a shelf life of up to two years. Its solvent polyacrylate, pressure-sensitive adhesive (18 N/25 mm per FINAT TM 1) ensures a secure bond to a variety of surfaces, including aluminium, stainless steel, and reflective or digitally printed materials. A 143 g/sqm silicone-coated release liner supports easy handling and installation. According to Orafol’s technical team, the film has been rigorously tested for resistance to oils, fuels, greases, solvents, acids, salts, alkalis, and even seawater, making it suitable for environments ranging from coastal regions to heavy industrial zones. The company says that graffiti and surface marks can be removed with soap and a soft sponge, or for more stubborn contamination, with a professional-grade graffiti remover like Oralite 5095REM. The film resists damage from cleaning agents, allowing signs to be maintained without degrading the overlaminate or the underlying substrate. Orafol also adds that the clarity and durability of the film are key differentiators from imitation products, noting that Oralite 5095 preserves both the reflectivity and appearance of signage, even under heavy use or in challenging conditions.
