Thursday, 7 August 2025 Neschen launches new PVC-free media for Large Format Printing Neschen has expanded its range of PVC-free print media, launching print PP MR L-UV and print PP MR L-UV air-matrix, saying the products are designed for professionals who care about performance, responsibility, and clean results in large-format communication. “With our new films, we bring together technical reliability and a more conscious choice of materials – all without compromising on quality or ease of use,” says Moritz Weber, Head of Marketing Both films are made from white, matte polypropylene (60 µm), which is completely PVC-free and highly dimensionally stable. A water-based, removable adhesive ensures reliable bonding across various surfaces, ideal for changing campaigns and flexible use cases. The print PP MR L-UV air matrix has built-in air channels for smooth, bubble-free installation—even under time pressure or without professional help. The company claims it is the perfect choice for seasonal campaigns, short-term promotions, or event signage that needs to look great quickly. Typical applications include storefront displays, temporary wayfinding at trade shows, and retail activation zones When developing new media, we focus not only on print quality and ease of use but also on how materials affect the planet. Polypropylene offers a solid alternative. It is PVC-free, mechanically stable, and has a significantly less environmental impact than classic PVC, from manufacturing to thermal disposal. Additional features of the products include: • Compatible with UV-curable and latex inks • Certified flame retardant (EN 13501, B-s1, d0) • Designed for up to 2 years of durability indoors and sheltered outdoors • Easy finishing with standard cutting plotters Neschen products are available through Spicers Previous Article Durst signs on as the first FESPA Foundation Partner Next Article Buitenkamp to visit Australia to present new opportunities in Natural Fibre Sublimation If you have a news story, or story about an interesting project or installation please contact [email protected] Sign up to Image Magazine Newsletter.
