Tuesday, 9 September 2025 Women in Print brings Print & Prosecco to Adelaide Women in Print Australia’s 2025 Print & Prosecco series opened in Brisbane last week, where 20 women from across the industry gathered at Lina Rooftop. Guests enjoyed sweeping city views, excellent food, and a relaxed evening of conversation and connection. The next Print & Prosecco networking evening will take place in Adelaide on Wednesday 1 October, combining casual networking with a hands-on printmaking mini-class where guests will create and take home a postcard print. Space is limited due to the nature of the event, and Women in Print says it expects tickets to sell out quickly. Chair of Women in Print Australia, Stephanie Gaddin, said the Adelaide gathering continues the momentum of the national series. “Print & Prosecco evenings are deliberately informal. They’re about meeting peers, casual networking, and coming together for a fun evening out. Adelaide always turns on a warm welcome; this time, everyone leaves with a postcard they’ve printed themselves.” The evening will be hosted at Pony & Cole, with the printmaking session delivered by Stone & Quoin. This collaborative studio works with Union St Printmakers and the broader arts community. Guests will learn kitchen print, also known as kitchen lithography, an accessible planographic technique using simple household materials. Bowden Print Group further supports the event as print partner and MCC Labels, supplying the Prosecco for the evening. Diana Nikolic from Ball & Doggett and South Australian Patron for Women in Print said the event reflects the spirit of the local industry. “Adelaide’s print community is collaborative and curious. Print & Prosecco gives us a relaxed space to reconnect, welcome new faces and celebrate the craft that brings us together. I’m thrilled to support an evening where we can talk shop, swap ideas and try a tactile printmaking technique, and then take a little piece of the night home.” Event Details Date: Wednesday 1 October, Time: 6:00pm–9:00 pm (starts 6:00 pm sharp) Tickets: $39 per person + GST/booking fee (Members $35) Includes: Glass of Prosecco on arrival, nibbles, mini printmaking class with all materials supplied Tickets can be purchased at https://womeninprint.com.au/network. Women in Print has also thanked its Ally Sponsors, Ricoh Australia and Durst Oceania, for their ongoing support, noting that all contributions to the association make events like Print & Prosecco possible.
