New supplier Veritas Print Media enters the industry

Veritas Print Media has announced its global launch, entering the market as a specialist supplier dedicated to “radical transparency” and “evidence-based sustainability.”
Veritas says it will provide certified, high-performance alternatives to traditional petroleum-based and chlorine-heavy substrates.

With a presence spanning Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, Veritas says it aims to bridge the gap between corporate sustainability promises and the technical reality of the materials used in large-scale signage and retail branding.

Truth as a Core Business Model
The company says its name, derived from the Latin word for truth, reflects a commitment to stripping away the "marketing spin" often associated with eco-friendly products. Veritas enters the market with a rigorous vetting process, ensuring every product in its portfolio is backed by independent research and third-party certification.

“For too long, the print industry has been forced to navigate a maze of vague environmental claims,” says Daniel Watts, CEO of Veritas Print Media. “Veritas was founded to bring integrity back to the supply chain. We aren't just selling media; we are providing the evidence that allows brands to prove their sustainability claims are genuine.”

At launch, Veritas is prioritising eliminating the "toxic trio" of traditional print: PVC, Chlorine, and Phthalates. By partnering with world-first innovators like BIOND®, Veritas is introducing 100% plant-based, biodegradable self-adhesive films that serve as direct "drop-in" replacements for traditional vinyl. These materials offer a path for global brands to reduce their Scope 3 emissions and eliminate the toxic dioxins associated with PVC disposal.

Also announced is the appointment of Ashley Playford-Browne as Category Manager. Playford-Browne brings decades of technical expertise and an uncompromising reputation for integrity to the Veritas leadership team. “Brands are under immense pressure from both regulators and consumers to prove their green credentials,” he says. “Veritas provides the technical infrastructure and the certified materials—like BIOND’s plant-based films—that make that proof possible.”
