Friday, 27 March 2026 ASGA calls for award judges Entries are open in the 2026 ASGA National Sign & Graphics Awards, and now the association has put out a call for industry professionals to join the Judging Panel for the milestone 10th biennial competition. According to ASGA President, Mick Harrold, expertise is required across a wide variety of industry disciplines, with the team responsible for judging categories ranging across areas from fabrication, to digital and illuminated signage, wide-format print and vehicle wraps, routing and engraving, and traditional brushwork and airbrushing. “We have a total of 20 signage categories that cover the entire range of products our sector produces, and a further six special awards that recognise innovation, sustainability, innovation and the like. “The commitment is for a few hours of time during June and July to review entries, and provide your input towards deciding the winner. “We are aiming to recruit four expert judges for each category, and obviously some judges will be able to provide expertise on a number of categories. The only qualification to that is that Judges cannot participate in the judging for any categories they, or their business, has entered. “The more judges we have, the fewer entries each Judge has to review, and obviously the wider the range of expertise, the better we can really drill down to find the very best examples in each category.” Mick says those interested in sitting on the 2026 Awards Judging Panel should send a brief bio, and a list of the categories they believe they are qualified to judge, to [email protected] Aspiring Judges can check the competition categories at signs.org.au The only category where the winner is not decided by the Judges is the People’s Choice Award. Judges will select qualifying entries for this category, but the final determination will be made according to votes cast at the Visual Impact Expo on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September at the Sydney Showground, ahead of the presentation of Awards at a Gala Dinner at the same venue on the Thursday night. To be eligible for entry into this year’s Awards, projects must have been completed between 1 June 2024 and 4 June 2026. Entries must be received by 5:00PM on Friday 5 June, 2026. No late entries will be accepted. The 2026 ASGA National Sign & Graphics Awards are proudly supported by Gold Sponsors Spandex, ORAFOL and Avery Dennison, and Bronze Sponsors Currie Group, HP and SMIB.
