Spandex expands ImagePerfect 5700 range of high performance signage vinyls

Spandex, the one-stop supplier of innovative solutions to the sign, graphics and display industries, has expanded its ImagePerfect 5700 range of high-performance coloured self-adhesive signage vinyls with the addition of 12 new trend colours and the extension of its PerfectApply technology to a wider selection of products in the portfolio.

In addition, the company has announced the availability of its most popular colours in a new HighTack option, offering customers an ultra-strong adhesive system. HighTack is ideal for long term applications onto challenging, slightly textured or uneven surfaces such as walls, varnished surfaces and assorted vehicles, including fleet, construction equipment, trucks and caravans.

The 12 new ImagePerfect 5700 colours include four additional grey gloss shades (Tele Grey, Carbon Grey, Silver Shadow, Charcoal Grey), six jewel-bright gloss colours (Explosive Yellow, Intense Orange, Crimson, Indigo Blue, Dynamic Blue and Tropical Green), as well as new Sparkling Silver and Gold finishes. These additions bring the total portfolio to 90 colour choices.

25 of the ImagePerfect 5700 vinyls are now available with Spandex PerfectApply technology, which offers optimum repositionability and air egress during application, making for easy, fast, bubble-free installation, without the risk of damage to the material using bubble piercing tools.

PerfectApply was first introduced by Spandex to a limited selection of ImagePerfect 5700 products in 2018, eliciting an enthusiastic response from customers looking to make installation quicker and easier.

Spandex is also introducing the option of a new high tack adhesive system available to the ImagePerfect 5700 range, providing customers with a broader choice of products optimised for both indoor and outdoor applications. The new HighTack colours will support a higher level of adhesive bond strength on the substrate.

With these new products, any Spandex customer with a plotter and experience of working with signage materials can extend their application capabilities in the décor, architectural, fleet and industrial machinery segments, taking advantage of the sustained growth in this segment of the market,” adds David.

The new ImagePerfect 5700 products are available from Spandex now, and are viewable on the Spandex ColourBox app.

ImagePerfect 5700 vinyls can also be bespoke colour-matched to a specific Pantone reference in Standard, PerfectApply and HighTack options.
