To mark the occasion, Vivad will host a combined Open House and Anniversary Party at its Campbellfield premises on Friday, July 25. The milestone follows a significant expansion of the company’s production facilities, which have grown from 4,000 to 7,500 square metres by acquiring neighbouring properties. Ewen Donaldson, owner and managing director of the (Campbellfield) Melbourne-based print specialist says: “It’s important to acknowledge our 25 years of success, but this event is as much about looking forwards to the next 25 years as it is about thanking our customers, suppliers and team, for their assistance in getting us here.” “We’re keen for our customers to come and see the new facility and celebrate our 25th anniversary with the team,” adds Donaldson. ‘We’re really keen to show them our Vivtrack powerhouse production system too and we’ve come up with a fun and engaging way to showcase the scale and scope of this with them through the inaugural Vivad Web-to-Print games.” The celebration will begin at 4:00 PM with an Open House guided tour of Vivad’s cutting-edge large-format production facility sponsored by Durst. Guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne while exploring the latest print and finishing technologies and meet the team behind Vivad’s service. The festivities will ramp up at 5:00 PM with the launch of the Vivad Web-to-Print Games, a light-hearted competition designed to showcase the capabilities of the company’s Vivtrack web-to-print system. Watch some of Australia’s most elite print athletes compete to race jobs from online order, through production and on to the finish line. The games will be hosted live by renowned comedian Sam McCool. Known for his sharp wit, McCool will MC the event machine-side and keep the crowd laughing well into the evening. Events include: - Dye sublimation Steeplechase (sponsored by Carr Group); - Vinyl Banner Velodrome (sponsored by Spicers); - Sav Print and Mount shot putt (sponsored by Currie Group); and - Corflute Challenge (sponsored by Corex). Following the Web-to-Print Games the festivities will continue well into the evening with a huge 25th Anniversary celebratory party, with street food and canapés, complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks. Melbourne’s six-piece Superband will headline the night with show-stopping live music, supported by a DJ and more of McCool’s trademark comedy between sets. Guests are encouraged to register early, with tickets at $60 through Eventbrite. Click here for tickets Print 108
