DIMENSE Module added to Roland DG Connect Designer Software

Roland DG has released the DIMENSE Module, extending the functionality of the new Roland DG Connect Designer to include designs for the new DA-640 dimensional printer.

“This new-generation software was developed to make it easier and more efficient for users with different objectives, skills, and experience levels to use our inkjet printers. It combines easy-to-use design creation for novice users who may be unfamiliar with professional-level applications, as well as generating automated print settings and printing without using RIP software,” says Ryugo Nimura, President of Roland DG’s Global Sales and Marketing Division.

Roland DG Connect Designer enables users to tailor their design workflow by installing modular features specific to each printer. This allows them to activate only the functions they need, simplifying operations and reducing costs. The new DIMENSE module offers preset embossing effects, file preparation, and visualisation for creating textured output on the dimensional printer.
