Epson announces high temperature T3200-U3-2 Inkjet Printhead

Epson has announced it will launch the new T3200-U3-2 printhead as part of its PrecisionCore series in early April 2026 to meet growing demand in the commercial and industrial digital printing market.

The new printhead features a new structural design that allows ink to be heated up to 50℃, a temperature higher than that supported by its predecessor, the T3200-U3. This design enables stable ejection and outstanding reliability and durability with a wider variety of UV inks. Compatibility with an expanded viscosity range gives these printheads a broader scope of applications in commercial and industrial printing.

Demand for digital printing is increasing in the commercial and industrial printing market, creating more variation in customer needs and applications.

Since its release in July 2021, the previous model, T3200-U3, has gained widespread use, especially in printers for signage applications. The new T3200-U3-2 inherits the strengths of its predecessor while supporting ink heating up to 50℃, enabling it to eject UV inks with even higher viscosities stably.

Additionally, the new model shares the same external dimensions, electronic interface, and ejection performance as the previous T3200-U3, making replacement straightforward.

Epson says it will continue to strengthen its PrecisionCore printhead lineup to better meet customer needs, advancing digital printing in commercial and industrial markets.
