Impression Technology Australia brings the PRE-T Machine to FESPA 2022

Impression Technology Australia will exhibit its PPS Innovation’s PRE-T machine at the FESPA Tradeshow. The PRE-T is designed for garment decorators using DTG printers. It enables consistent and efficient pre-treatment of garments before printing. The pre-treatment of coloured and dark garments prior to printing plays a vital role in achieving the best image quality and repeatability with DTG printing. PPS Innovations is a subsidiary brand of Impression Technology Australia.

Jerry Erich, Business Development Manager at Impression Technology, says, “The PRE-T is really the culmination of all the experience our group has had with so many DTG printers in the market. We know that pre-treating garments is the Achilles heel of the DTG industry. We know it’s a pain to ask unskilled or untrained people in your business to pre-treat garments correctly. So we looked at how we could make the whole DTG process more seamless and simplified”. The PRE-T is available through ColDesi USA, Pigment Inc Europe and Impression Technology SE Asia / Oceania.”

About the PPS PRE-T

The design of the new PPS pre-treater had current DTG operators in mind. It is built to handle the robust equipment needs of garment decoration businesses. It is designed for efficient and safe pre-treatment of small and large volumes of garments prior to printing. The PRE-T is constructed of metal and coated with ACF-50 anti-corrosion film for longevity. A unique spray nozzle system delivers precision surface coating without clogging. The PRE-T is simple to clean and maintain with an integrated semi-automated cleaning function. The unit encapsulates the shirt entirely during pre-treating and leaves no misting of pre-treat in the print room for the benefit of operator safety. Users set the amount of pre-treat required, load the garment into the unit, and it's ready to operate.

There are several firsts with the PRE-T unit, namely;

  • A Maximum pre-treatment area of 19˝ x 15.5˝ (480 x 390mm)
  • Adjustable Spray cycle time between 2 to 12 seconds.
  • Completely enclosed spray chamber with no misting.
  • Rotational shirt platen (load garments front or side and ideal for thicker garments)
  • Adjustable spray length with robust single spray nozzle.
  • Dual tank easy swop system for dark and light garment pre-treatment solution.
  • ACF-50 coated (anti-corrosion film), which extends the usability life of the unit. ACF-50 actively penetrates and “creeps” into the tightest seams, lap joints, micro cracks, displacing moisture and salt-based corrosive fluids.
  • No air compressor or custom electrical wiring is required.

Attendees can visit the Pigment.Inc stand number 27-B30 to see PPS Innovation products.
