Paul Coniglio to revamp service to trade print companies in new role as GM PrintX

Following Steven Lane’s departure from PrintX earlier this year. print industry heavyweight Paul Coniglio has moved into the role of General Manager.  The very hands-on role allows Paul to combine his experience and relationships to revamp PrintX’s service offering to signage and print companies across Australia.

Prior to joining PrintX, Paul gained valuable product manufacturing experience as head of Asia Pacific for Metamark over the last two years. This along with twenty years of experience within the print industry, gives him a confident lead-in to growing the products and services that PrintX can offer their customers.

Paul is well known for his position as General Manager, Conect Enterprises, a national wholesaler to many signage and print customers. While there, he was instrumental in the development of several initiatives that helped grow the business substantially.

Driven by helping to solve challenges and to innovate, he developed an e-commerce platform that allowed customers instant access to ordering thousands of products, tools and accessories for direct shipping to their location. He also secured Conect the appointment of Master Distributorship in Australia for brands such as Metamark, Siser, and Stahls.

Paul’s exposure to global wholesale product solutions has allowed him to transfer his knowledge and relationships into significant benefits for PrintX customers, advising them on the right solutions for the price.

Paul says he’s keen to use his insights to help clients seeking broader product solutions than what they’re currently receiving.

“I’m very pleased to have joined the PrintX business as its new leader. PrintX has some fantastic, high speed and high-quality print capabilities that we provide all under the one roof. My aim is to transform PrintX into a top tier provider of excellence in the wide format print space, and I’m really looking forward to talking to potential new customers about how we can make life easier and more profitable for them.”

Since getting his feet under the desk, Paul has been busy building a team of industry professionals who are experts in their field when it comes to colour, production, workflow and IT to ensure the best quality production experience.

His initial focus for PrintX is to form new partnerships with small to medium businesses that are looking to increase their profitability and reduce the hassle of producing certain products in-house.

“Whether it be PVC banners up to 5m wide, Mesh banners, Fabric printing, flatbed printing or cutting and routing, the aim of the PrintX game is to provide fast, affordable and high-quality solutions,” he says.
