Mimaki booth consisting of four islands inspired visitors with new printing technologies and applications. The leading brand of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting plotters, Mimaki, demonstrated its strong ties with the printing industry at FESPA Eurasia 2021 and hosted visitors with an eye-catching concept at the exhibition on December 2-5. Mimaki exhibited its models and best-selling solutions at the booth consisting of four islands on a total area of 624 m2. Mimaki Eurasia gave visitors a comprehensive exhibition experience, with its 'exhibition within an exhibition' concept. Visitors were able to see the latest developments in 3D printing technology and innovations in Sign Graphics Industrial Textile and Apparel at the Mimaki booth. In addition, the special exhibition area on the IP island consisting of application examples of Mimaki users aiming to inspire visitors with the Mimaki Experience attracted significant attention throughout the exhibition. Mimaki Eurasia Area Sales Manager Hüseyin Şarerler stated that the exhibition was successful. Underlining that Mimaki had a rich product range, Şarerler explained that they focused on bringing new products to the market and offering the most preferred solutions. Şarerler said that the visitors showed great interest in new solutions and mentioned that they tried to reflect the advantages of the Mimaki Experience at the exhibition. Şarerler said, "We wanted to try something new at FESPA Eurasia 2021 and shared our booth with our users. We exhibited the works of our eight users from different sectors and fields of application right in the middle of our exhibition area. Our exhibition area, consisting of the products they prepared with Mimaki printing solutions, succeeded in inspiring the visitors exactly as we wanted. Visitors saw our machines in operation and observed their performance throughout the exhibition. They saw what could be done thanks to the Mimaki Experience through the products of our users in this exhibition area. In short, not us, our users talked through their products, and we achieved the successful result we desired". Şarerler has stated that the Turkish printing industry is making a breakthrough in UV printing and says they expect the increase in printing demand for industrial printing and personalized products to continue in the coming period. Şarerler continued his words as follows; "As Mimaki, we will continue to support the industry's growth with might and main. Our new models enable faster and higher quality printing and contribute to users in terms of operating costs. Furthermore, our machine designs can work with lots of different materials and offer the flexibility users are looking for. In the coming period, we will continue to put our weight behind our users, from machinery to ink, from software to technical service". The IP Island of the Mimaki Eurasia was turned into a technology centre with the solutions displayed on its four sides and in its two corridors. There were objects, trinkets and models produced with 3DUJ-2207, and the exhibition featuring products and stories of Mimaki users in the middle of the booth. Mimaki's new 3D solution 3DCS-322 automatic finishing unit was exhibited along with the 3DUJ-2207 3D printer with its competitive price. The removal of support materials after the 3D printing process can now be performed automatically thanks to this unit, thus maximizing efficiency. In addition, 2.5D embossed print samples produced on JFX600-2513 and JFX200-2513 EX UV-LED printers were presented on the wall of the IP island. These applications appealed to the sense of touch and were among the highlights with Mimaki printers. SG island was where opportunities were discovered for industrial advertising and printing specialists and users in the promotion and gift industry. The canvas designs printed on the entry-level JV100-160 eco-solvent printer were then framed and gifted to the visitors. While impressive lacquered prints were produced on grey foil with the UCJV300-75 UV-LED print and cut machine in this area, lightbox prints printed with the UJV100-160 roll-to-roll UV-LED printer drew attention with their vivid colours. Another solution was the CG-SRIII cutting plotter. The visitors were allowed to cover their phones with the designs they desired after the foil prints made with the concept of 'cover your phone' were cut on this plotter. The textile industry is rapidly accepting digital printing, can reach opportunities that were not possible before with Mimaki solutions. Mimaki Eurasia hosted the visitors with a living room concept on the textile island they had dedicated to the sector. TS55-1800 and TS100-1600 sublimation transfer printers reduce investment, dye and operating costs thanks to their competitive prices and provide advantages in several textile applications from clothing to home textiles. Many professionals from the textile industry held meetings with Mimaki to experience innovations in digital textile printing throughout the exhibition. In addition, the second issue of Mimaki's corporate publication Print 'N More was offered free of charge to visitors during FESPA Eurasia 2021.
