Mimaki launches two Australian firsts

Mimaki have launched two printers into the Australian market at PacPrint. Visitors to the stand were able to see both the new JFX600-2513 large-format flatbed UV inkjet printer and the JV330-160, the eco-solvent inkjet printer with the new XY-slitter.

Brad Creighton National Marketing Manager,  Mimaki Australia said, “We were delighted to launch, display and demonstrate these two new machines, for the first time in Australia . Both the JFX600-2513 and the new JV330-160 with the integrated XY Slitter showcase the continual development and improvements in production efficiency coupled with exceptional print quality and output.”

JV330-160 with XY-Slitter

The JV330 series features Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology (MWDT), which changes the order of ink droplet placement depending on the printing conditions, helping to suppress unexpected occurrences of streaks or unevenness of printing. The model also features the XY-slitter which hashighly precise cutting technology with in-line X-axis & Y-axis sheet-fed cutting, which speeds up delivery and reduces post-process work. Businesses can quickly output work requiring quick delivery, enabling an expansion of services or range of work offered.

The CJV330-160 model comes with an additional integrated cutter, which has an additional embedded cutter inside the printer that cuts across the horizontal.

JFX600-2513

The JFX600-2513 is 2.5 m x 1.3m large-format flatbed LED UV inkjet printer,  with up to 330% faster print speed than JFX500. The printer is exceptionally versatile, with six colours available including light colours,  a large 2.5m by 1.3m table size and can support media as thick as 60mm.

The printer has been designed with usability in mind, with support for MDL commands making it easier to automate workflow, and enabling efficiencies in work piece transfer, during printing.
