A cool Jurassic Park vehicle wrap. The team at Signbiz WA were approached by children’s charity Variety WA to create an engaging wrap for their charity events. They wanted something that would make even Dr Ian Malcom jealous, and they delivered. The design showcases references from the Jurassic Park movie, keeping it as iconic and true to the film as possible. The car is wrapped in Arlon Graphics SLX and the newest colour change film, Premium Colour Change on the roof. “We are really pleased with the results. We used Arlon’s SLX, which provides a long-term bond and is easy to remove. The best part is that the car isn’t just for show; Variety WA will be using it for charity events to raise funds for sick children. By donating, you can help us make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most,” says Keith Pope, Production Manager, Signbiz WA. Signbiz WA faced a few challenges as the car from the original action-packed film was a 1992 Ford Explorer, which is quite boxy in its appearance, while the car they had to wrap is more curved. However, they overcame this by creating custom templates for the bonnet and guard. With such “Dino-mite” results, the car promotes a great cause and showcases the positive impact signage has on the community. Every $1 raised will help Variety WA make sure all kids get a fair go in life, no matter what their ability or circumstance, through the provision of tangible equipment and programs.
