Signarama Tuggerah, NSW Central Coast achieves 25% revenue growth with HP Latex 800W

Founded in 2007 Signarama Tuggerah is one of the larger Print Service Providers operating on the Central Coast of NSW. Since introducing the HP Latex 800W to its business, it has achieved a 25% increase in revenues.

A part of the global Signarama franchise network, the Tuggerah store was acquired by husband-and-wife duo Melissa and Gary Marshall in 2019, bringing with them a passion for print, and a new business outlook. While retaining members of the original Signarama team and continuing to support local talent in the print industry, they have since strengthened the product offerings and extended the range of options.

Soon after taking over operations, and before investing in an HP Latex R1000 flatbed to replace an existing UV flatbed printer, the Marshalls mostly relied on an HP Latex 360 roll printer to deliver the majority of their large signage jobs.

As the business continued to grow, Signarama Tuggerah experienced and increase in orders, with many of them on tight deadlines. Eventually, there was a crucial need to expand their printer capacity to meet the demands of this growing business. When one of the business's suppliers suggested the HP Latex 800W with white ink capability, further testing and analysis showed it would be a good investment.

According to Melissa Marshall, Director at Signarama Tuggerah: “We can load the HP Latex 800W to print overnight. The turnaround time for projects also improved significantly due to instantly-dry prints;  the designs were ready to be applied right away thereby avoiding extra time on drying and lamination.”

Ultimately, the HP Latex 800W and its white ink technology proved to be a much-needed productivity boost for Signarama, in terms of giving the business a creative edge, printing on eco-friendly substrates, enabling faster project completion and delivering high quality signage even on clear and dark substrates, where the white ink laid down as a base layer, proved its worth.
Craig Hardman, ANZ Large Format Country Manager at HP says: “We love hearing stories of how our products help Aussie businesses create more efficient processes and ultimately increase their revenue. The HP Latex 800W suite of features enables Print Service Providers to be more agile, tackle ambitious projects and take on the highest value work whilst also delivering fast workflows.”
