Inkcups wins three Pinnacle Awards

Inkcups has won three PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Awards in the technology category. The winning solutions are the XJET Switch direct-to-bag printer for its digital decoration of clear concert bags, Nano transparent pin curing on the Double Helix, and the Lustre Effect achieved with the Helix ONE.

"Inkcups entered three solutions into this year's PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Technology Awards, and we're delighted to have won all three in such an important competition! We're so proud of this recognition, and even more proud of how Inkcups continues to innovate and push boundaries with our technology," says Benjamin Adner, Chief Innovation Officer and Founder, Inkcups.

Dawn Nye, Program Manager, PRINTING United Alliance, says, "We are thrilled to announce the recipients of this year's Pinnacle Awards, celebrating the groundbreaking innovations and exceptional achievements shaping our industry's future. Congratulations to all of the winners for their remarkable Pinnacle Award contributions and inspiring us all."

The three winning solutions are:

The XJET Switch flatbed UV printer is designed for full-colour direct-to-reusable bag applications, hard goods, and more. This printer swiftly and expertly decorates clear PVC tote bags, otherwise called stadium bags, which many major venues in the United States mandate as the only bags permitted within the premises.

Nano Pin Curing enables printing on transparent cylindrical vessels such as Triton containers, wine and spirit bottles, candle holders and assorted glassware without the need to fill the vessel with a UV-blocking substance. This new technology enables simplified digital printing on vessels, significantly reduces wear and tear on print heads, improves production processes, and ensures that your product remains uncontaminated.

Lustre Effect is a print technique made possible by software technology that allows for a metallic appearance on aluminium, stainless, and other metal cylindrical vessels. The Lustre Effect provides hundreds of metallic shades for unique and eye-catching graphics. For limitless creativity, it also offers unlimited embellishment features to create gradations, dimensions, hidden and subtle watermarks, and patterns with metallic colours.
